Starting a New Team
Coaching a Double Dutch team is an exciting and rewarding experience. Your commitment and the manner in which you form, coach and manage a team and its jumpers is key to its success. Many people believe that the only qualification needed to coach is to have played the sport. It's helpful to have played, but there is much more to coaching successfully. Even if you haven't played Double Dutch, you can still teach the skills of the sport effectively. In The American Double Dutch League Rule Book and Training Video, you will learn how to form a Double Dutch team, the fundamentals of the sport and training tips utilized to coach - helping you to have a positive coaching experience. Scoresheet Format Changes
These changes in the format of the scoresheets have been in effect since 2004.
Compulsory Test Changes
By unanimous vote of the ADDL Rules Committee and the governing Board, the Compulsory Test which originally had a testing time limit of 30 seconds for a Singles Team and 40 seconds for a Doubles Team will now have a testing time limit of 25 seconds for a Singles Team and 35 seconds for a Doubles Team. Please take note of this change in your ADDL Rule Books.
